| Reverse description | Oval flan depicting the Royal Danish Egg, one of the Imperial Fabergé Easter eggs, rendered in vivid applied colour. The central motif shows the egg resting on an ornate gold-coloured stand supported by four heraldic lions; the egg itself is enamelled in deep blue and white with gold gilt latticework, a crowned monogram 'M' in blue enamel on the central cartouche, and a white enamel elephant automaton surmounting the apex. To the lower right, a miniature portrait of a royal lady — Queen Maria Feodorovna — is displayed in a blue-enamelled frame on a small easel. Decorative floral vine motifs in relief occupy the lateral fields, while a repeating pattern of crowns and snowflakes fills the lower border.
