Obverse description Third-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, as modelled by Raphael Maklouf, wearing the George IV State Diadem adorned with pearls and jewels. The queen's neck and shoulders are lightly draped, and her hair is styled upswept beneath the crown. The legend BERMUDA is inscribed along the left field and ELIZABETH II along the right field, both following the coin's circumference. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field, characteristic of Royal Mint craftsmanship of the period.
