| Obverse description | The obverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II positioned above an open representation of the Fabergé Spring Flowers Egg (1899–1903), which features a miniature basket arranged with a bouquet of anemones. The royal portrait is rendered in right-facing profile in a standard contemporary style. The surrounding legend inscribed in the field reads NIUE ISLAND, ELIZABETH II, 1 DOLLAR, 2020, and Ag 999, along with the Mint of Poland mintmark mw. The oval format of the coin echoes the distinctive egg shape of the subject matter. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a polychrome enamel and colored rendition of the Imperial Fabergé Pansy Egg of 1899, also known as the Jade Egg on account of its precious jade stone body. The egg is depicted resting upon a finely detailed base of carved gold leaves from which five enameled pansy buds emerge in various shades of purple. The upper portion of the egg opens to reveal a pearl-adorned gold heart bearing eleven miniature strawberry-shaped medallions connected by an intertwined monogram of the letter M, each medallion concealing a portrait of a member of the imperial family. A floral wreath encircling the Star of Bethlehem crowns the interior heart motif, while the year 1899, marking the completion of the original work, is inscribed below. The legend IMPERIAL FABERGÉ EGGS appears in the field. |
