Reverse description Central shield of the Canadian coat of arms featuring a maple leaf, flanked on the left by a rampant lion with stylized flame-like mane and on the right by a perched eagle with spread wings, both rendered in high relief against a polished field. The commemorative dates 1812-2012 arc across the upper portion of the field, while the purity designation 9999 appears below the shield. Along the lower periphery, the bilingual fineness inscription FINE SILVER 3/4 OZ ARGENT PUR curves around the rim. The engraver's initials CBS appear at lower left in the field.
