Obverse description The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicting the monarch in right-facing profile wearing the George IV State Diadem, drop earrings, and a necklace. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend QUEEN ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR, the issuer TUVALU, and the date 2010 are distributed around the lower portion of the coin. The engraver's initials IRB appear truncated at the base of the portrait.
