| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Raphael David Maklouf, set centrally within an ornate oval field. The legend ELIZABETH II appears to the left and NIUE ISLAND to the right, with the date 2013 at lower left and the denomination ONE DOLLAR at lower centre, accompanied by the fineness mark Ag 925 at lower right. Two ornate champagne coupes flank the portrait below, and a winged angel figure is rendered in high relief at the base of the field.
