Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of a Lesser Canada Goose (Branta hutchinsii) in dynamic upward flight, its wings fully spread and neck outstretched, rising from a marshy wetland habitat rendered with reeds and low vegetation in the lower field. A formation of geese in flight appears in the middle-left background, receding into the open field to suggest depth and migration. The legends CANADA and DOLLAR are inscribed in two lines at the upper right of the field, with the date 2004 positioned below. The engraver's initials S.T. for Susan Taylor are visible at the lower left of the design.
