Additional information

Edward V is one of only two English monarchs never to have been crowned — seized by his uncle Richard, Duke of Gloucester, in 1483 and confined to the Tower of London alongside his brother, he disappeared from all historical record before his coronation could take place. The question of who ordered their deaths has never been definitively resolved, though Richard III remains the primary suspect in most serious historical analysis.
