| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a full-color photographic portrait of Han Solo and Princess Leia from Star Wars: The Force Awakens dominating the left portion of the field, with Han Solo holding a blaster pistol. To the right, an engraved monochrome vignette shows the two characters in an embrace, rendered in fine detail against a starfield background. The Rebel Alliance insignia is prominently displayed in the center of the field. The STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS logo appears in the upper-right corner, and the copyright notice © & ™ Lucasfilm Ltd. is inscribed along the lower edge. A unique serial number is printed in red at the lower-right. |

Part of the New Zealand Mint's ongoing Star Wars licensing program issued through Niue, which has served as a vehicle for collectible silver issues since the early 2010s. Niue's arrangement with the New Zealand Mint produces coins that are legal tender in name but designed entirely for the collector market — none circulate.
The 5g format is deliberately small, keeping silver content costs low for a mass-market licensed product.
