Additional information

Part of a devotional series issued for the Catholic market, this piece commemorates the Stations of the Cross — a format Niue has licensed repeatedly to Polish mint operator Mennica Polska, which produced the majority of such themed issues during this period. The eighth station depicts Christ speaking to the women of Jerusalem, drawn from Luke 23:28.
