| Reverse description | The reverse presents a richly coloured, stylised winged scarab beetle rendered in the ancient Egyptian tradition, occupying the full field of the coin. The scarab's body and outspread wings are finished in translucent lavender and violet enamel with gilded feather detailing along the wing edges. A large faceted crystal sphere, set in a crescent-shaped mount above the scarab's thorax, serves as the centrepiece and catches light with an opalescent, multicoloured effect. Above the crystal, a symmetrical frieze of lotus blossoms and papyrus flowers in lavender and gold completes the composition, evoking ancient Egyptian religious iconography. The entire design is set against a highly polished, mirror-black field that accentuates the contrast between the coloured elements and the silver surfaces. |
