| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted with a diademed and elaborately jewelled crown, set within the brass centre of the bimetallic flan. The engraver's initials IRB appear on the truncation of the neck.
