Obverse description The obverse features a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, bareheaded with a diadem, after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, positioned to the lower left of the field. The background is decorated with flowing concentric wave lines radiating across the entire field, creating a dynamic visual effect. A raised circular concave dome in the upper right area of the field contains a three-dimensional silver filigree four-leaf clover insert. Two large four-leaf clovers in high relief are depicted in the lower right field, one bearing a stem. The peripheral legend reads '1 DOLLAR 2010' at the top and 'ELIZABETH II NIUE ISLAND' along the lower rim, with the mint mark 'mw' visible to the left of the effigy.
