Reverse description A finely detailed ancient Roman quadriga in full gallop is depicted at centre, with four horses rendered in high relief surging to the left, their harnesses and musculature meticulously engraved; a charioteer stands in the ornately decorated chariot to the right, whip raised. Behind the quadriga, a colour-printed scene depicts the ruins of a grand Roman amphitheatre with trees in the background, contrasting with the polished silver foreground elements. In the lower field, the Latin motto CITIUS (meaning 'faster', one of the Olympic maxims) is inscribed between two chariot wheel devices, flanked by the silver fineness designation AG 925 to the lower left and the weight specification 26,15G to the lower right.
