| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the lower central field of the rectangular flan, rendered in high relief against a matte background decorated with stylized floral and foliage motifs. The legend 'NIUE' appears in raised letters above the portrait, with the purity mark 'Ag 999' incused along the left edge.
