Reverse description Bust of Stanisław August Poniatowski, last King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, facing right in high relief, rendered in a neoclassical style with flowing hair tied at the nape. The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field and is executed with fine sculptural detail emphasizing the regal bearing of the subject. The circular legend 'STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS D·G·REX POLON·M·D·LIT·' runs along the upper and lateral rim, identifying the monarch by his Latin royal title. A small engraver's initial is visible beneath the bust near the lower rim. The design references the coinage of Poniatowski's reign and was struck by the Mint of Poland.
