The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field and is executed with fine sculptural detail emphasizing the regal bearing of the subject. The circular legend 'STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS D·G·REX POLON·M·D·LIT·' runs along the upper and lateral rim, identifying the monarch by his Latin royal title.
