Reverse description A full-colour depiction of an adult tricolour Beagle standing in profile at centre, with a Beagle puppy seated at lower left, both rendered in polychrome enamel against a contrasting silver and black field. Scattered paw-print motifs decorate the lower field, while silhouettes of travellers with luggage appear to the left and an airport control tower to the right; a commercial aircraft in flight is struck in the upper field to reinforce the detector-dog context. The series title WORKING DOGS arcs along the upper legend, with the 'O' of DOGS replaced by a paw-print device; BEAGLE - DETECTOR DOG and the fineness inscription 1oz 999 SILVER are inscribed along the lower periphery. The engraver's initials NM appear discreetly in the lower-left field.
