Reverse description Central device displays the coat of arms of Anguilla, a quartered shield bearing a cannon with cannon balls, a sun, three dolphins, and horizontal wavy lines, supported by a tree to the left and a dolphin to the right, with a ribbon below bearing the motto STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE. The numeral 1 appears to both the left and right of the arms in the field. The dates MAY 30 JULY 11 / 1967 are inscribed in an arc at the top of the field, with the year of issue below the shield and the legend ANGUILLA ONE DOLLAR running along the lower periphery, all within a beaded inner rim.
