Reverse description A finely detailed winged scarab beetle rendered in high relief occupies the centre of the field, its outstretched wings filling the lower half of the design. Above the scarab's thorax, a genuine cabochon amber insert — golden-yellow in colour with natural inclusions — is set to represent the solar disc being propelled skyward, a motif drawn from ancient Egyptian iconography. A stylised frieze of lotus blossoms and buds in relief arcs across the upper field, referencing the sacred flora of the Nile. The highly polished mirror field provides a strong contrast to the frosted sculptural elements, emphasising the three-dimensional depth of the composition. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse.
