| Obverse description | The obverse bears the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as an elderly sovereign, designed by Susanna Blunt, depicting a bare-headed right-facing portrait of the Queen at approximately 77 years of age, wearing a necklace and drop earrings.
