| Obverse description | The sixth and final effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by sculptor Jody Clark, depicted in right-facing profile wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II appears above the effigy, with AUSTRALIA and the date 2022 flanking the lower field, and the denomination 1 DOLLAR inscribed below. The engraver's initials JC appear near the portrait's truncation. The design is rendered in high-relief proof finish befitting its commemorative status. |

The "Great Aussie Coin Hunt" series was a Royal Australian Mint circulation program designed to drive public engagement with coinage — the original run in 2019 used 26 letters, each paired with an Australian cultural reference, and proved popular enough to spawn two follow-up series. This silver proof variant of the third installment is a collector-market derivative of that campaign, struck in .999 silver against the base-metal circulating originals.
The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was introduced to Australian coinage in 2019.
