Obverse description The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as sculpted by Jody Clark, occupies the central field in right-facing portrait. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem, with hair dressed and pearl drop earrings visible. The engraver's initials 'JC' appear in small relief at the lower left of the truncation. The peripheral legend reads 'ELIZABETH II' above and 'AUSTRALIA' to the right, with the denomination '1 DOLLAR' inscribed along the lower rim, flanked by two raised dots.
