Reverse description The reverse, designed by Adam Ball, presents a detailed bushranger scene in high relief against an open field. In the foreground stands a prominent masked bushranger clad in a long coat, broad-brimmed hat, and boots, holding a bucket-shaped object, evoking the iconography of Ned Kelly's armour. Flanking figures and a mounted horseman with trees and a rail fence in the background complete the composition, referencing the colonial-era outlaw tradition. The legend 'AUSTRALIAN BUSHRANGERS' is displayed within a decorative banner frame at the upper field, surmounted by a boot motif, with the engraver's initials 'AB' in the lower left field. A counterstamp letter 'B' (for Brisbane) appears in a circle in the upper centre of the field.
