Reverse description A detailed frontal portrait of a tiger occupies the central circular field, rendered with fine sculptural detail highlighting the animal's facial features and fur. The Chinese character 虎 (Tiger) appears to the right within the outer annular border, while a stylised tiger paw print motif is positioned to the left. The outer border is divided into seven segments by decorative curved lines, each segment embellished with floral and scrollwork ornamental motifs in a symmetrical arrangement inspired by traditional Chinese design. The date 2010 appears at the top of the field, and the legend YEAR OF THE TIGER is inscribed at the base of the central circle in three lines.
