Reverse description A finely modelled rabbit, depicted in three-quarter profile facing left, stands at centre within a raised circular inner border, resting on a grassy ground. The surrounding field is divided into four decorative panels by raised curved bands, each panel filled with ornate Chinese-style cloud and flame motifs in relief against a mirror-polished background. The Chinese character 兔 (Rabbit) appears to the right, and the date 2011 is inscribed at the top of the design. The inscription YEAR OF THE RABBIT is arranged in three lines at the base of the central circle.
