| Reverse description | Two rabbits are depicted amidst stylised vegetation, rendered in a detailed naturalistic style befitting the Lunar Series theme. The Chinese character 兔 (Rabbit) appears prominently to the right of the central motif, flanked by the Perth Mint's P mintmark. The inscription YEAR OF THE RABBIT arcs along the lower field, completing the bilingual composition that celebrates the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Rabbit. |

| Additional information |
The Perth Mint's lunar series has run continuously since 1996, with each twelve-year cycle commanding a dedicated collector base across East and Southeast Asia. The 2011 rabbit issue falls within the second lunar series, which shifted the reverse designs toward a more naturalistic rendering style than the first series. Mintage was capped, though secondary market premiums on these aluminium bronze circulation-quality strikes have historically stayed modest compared to the silver bullion equivalents released alongside them.
