The "Great Aussie Coin Hunt" was a Royal Australian Mint circulation campaign that released 26 aluminium bronze dollar coins — one for each letter of the alphabet — into everyday change beginning in 2019. The silver proof counterparts were produced for collectors who wanted the complete set without fishing through pocket change. "R" stands for Rotary, one of 26 distinctly Australian subjects chosen for the series.
