Reverse description A naturalistically rendered koala, selectively gilt in .999 gold, is depicted resting and gripping a eucalyptus branch that extends diagonally across the field, with several ungilded eucalyptus leaves rendered in detail in the left foreground. The koala's textured fur, large ears, and characteristic facial features are finely executed in high relief. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark appears to the left of the branch, and the engraver's initials EWR are inscribed at lower left. The legend 1oz 999 SILVER is inscribed along the lower rim.
