Additional information

The "Kangaroo at Sunset" series ran as part of Perth Mint's broader push in the late 2000s to diversify its silver bullion lineup beyond the long-running Kookaburra and Koala programs. Each annual release in this short three-year run carried a different reverse design, a deliberate departure from the fixed-image bullion model used by most sovereign mints at the time. Production was relatively modest compared to Perth's flagship bullion issues, and the series was discontinued after 2011.
