| Obverse description | The obverse features a two-zone design with a miniature fourth-portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, positioned within the outer annular ring. The inner central dump bears the Perth Mint's heraldic 'rampant swan' privy mark. The surrounding legend reads ELIZABETH II ONE DOLLAR AUSTRALIA, with the inscription THE PERTH MINT Est. 1899 completing the outer ring lettering.
