Reverse description The reverse features a finely detailed, pad-printed colour depiction of a Diamantinasaurus matildae, an Australian titanosaur sauropod, rendered in silver relief against a rich naturalistic background of prehistoric foliage and a muted ochre sky applied by pad printing. The large quadrupedal dinosaur is shown in three-quarter left-facing stance, its long neck extended upward and its massive body textured with fine scale engraving. The species name 'DIAMANTINASAURUS' arcs in bold relief along the upper border, while the inscription '1oz 999 Silver' appears in the lower exergue. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark is visible to the right of the field, and the engraver's initials 'TV' are incorporated into the design.
