| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, is depicted in right-facing profile bust, crowned with the George IV State Diadem and wearing a necklace and earrings. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper field and 'AUSTRALIA' continues along the right periphery, all rendered in raised Latin lettering. Two raised dots flank the lower field, where the denomination '1 DOLLAR' is inscribed in bold relief. The engraver's initials 'IRB' appear in small incuse lettering beneath the truncation of the portrait. The polished proof fields provide a mirror-like contrast to the frosted high-relief effigy. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylised Aboriginal Dreaming depiction of a dingo rendered in a decorative dot-and-line art style, occupying the central field. The dingo's form is composed of geometric patterns including radiating lines, dotted borders, and cross-hatching, evoking traditional Indigenous Australian artistic conventions. A pad-printed coloured arc of warm ochre and sienna tones, representing the Australian desert landscape in a dotted motif, sweeps across the lower portion of the design, providing vivid chromatic contrast to the struck silver surfaces. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark appears to the left of the design, while the legend 'DISCOVER AUSTRALIA' arcs along the upper periphery and '2011 DINGO 1oz 999 SILVER' is inscribed along the lower field. The reverse was designed by Darryl Bellotti. |
