Obverse description The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley occupies the central field, depicting a right-facing draped bust of the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The effigy is set against a deeply mirrored proof field with a radiating sunburst pattern of fine lines emanating outward behind the portrait, creating a striking decorative halo effect. The legend ELIZABETH II and AUSTRALIA are inscribed in raised letters along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR and the fineness specification 1oz 999 SILVER appear along the lower periphery. The date 2014 is prominently struck at the base of the design between the fineness and denomination inscriptions. The engraver's initials IRB appear truncated below the portrait.
