Obverse description The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, is depicted in right-facing profile at centre, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation of the neck. The legend ELIZABETH II flanked by two raised dots arcs across the upper field, with AUSTRALIA and the date 2018 continuing around the right. The denomination 1 DOLLAR, flanked by raised dots, is inscribed along the lower rim.
