Additional information

Cook Islands issued a substantial number of commemorative silver pieces through the 1990s and 2000s under licensing arrangements that had little to do with the islands themselves — this is one of them. The three dates in the title reference Brazil's World Cup victories in 1954, 1974 wrong — those were West Germany's — and 1990, also West Germany. Brazil won in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. Whatever the intended honoree, the title as cataloged contains an error that has never been formally corrected.
