Additional information

This is one piece in a 24-coin series issued by Niue commemorating Dante's Divina Commedia, released around the 750th anniversary of Dante's birth in 1265. Niue has been a prolific licensor of themed collector silver since the early 2000s, contracting design and distribution through external minting houses — in this case almost certainly the Polish Mint, which produced the bulk of Niue's literary and artistic series during this period.

Position 22 of 24 places this coin late in the Paradiso sequence. Complete 24-piece sets trade at a premium over the sum of individual pieces.
