Obverse description Central device comprises two stylized salmon rendered in Northwest Coast Native American artistic style, arranged in a circular, interlocking composition within a beaded inner border. The fish are depicted with traditional formline design elements including ovoid and U-form motifs. The outer legend reads 'JAMUL SOVEREIGN NATION' along the upper arc and 'NATIVE INDIAN NATIONS IN AMERICA' along the lower arc, separated by dot dividers. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative zigzag border at the rim.
