| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicted as a circular roundel bearing a stylized coconut palm with crossed branches, enclosed within a decorative geometric border. The seal is surmounted by a royal crown and flanked on either side by a laurel-style wreath of elongated leaf motifs. Beneath the seal, two crossed ceremonial paddles are rendered in relief, with a scroll bearing the Niuean motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI' superimposed upon them. The legend 'ONE DOLLAR' arcs along the upper rim, while the inscription 'PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE' curves around the upper portion of the central device.
