Reverse description The reverse features a detailed line-art style engraving of the Mandalorian, the armoured bounty hunter protagonist of the Star Wars television series, depicted in a full-length forward-facing stance. The figure is rendered in beskar armour with a T-visor helmet, flowing cape, and utility belt, holding a blaster pistol in the left hand and a fork-shaped weapon in the right. A second partially visible armoured figure appears in the background to the right, set against a dramatic rocky landscape with atmospheric sky. The composition is rendered in a graphic novel aesthetic with fine engraved linework across the polished silver field. The distributor mark 'agoro' appears in the lower right corner.

Additional information

Niue has leveraged its currency-issuing rights under its free association agreement with New Zealand since the 1990s to produce a continuous stream of licensed collector coins — Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm properties among them. The island's entire GDP is dwarfed by the face value of commemorative issues it authorizes annually, a fiscal arrangement that functions more as a licensing business than a monetary one.

The Mandalorian license derives from the 2019 Disney+ series produced by Jon Favreau, the first live-action Star Wars television production.
