Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in a contemporary portrait style by engraver Steven Rosati, whose initials SR appear on the truncation. The legend CHARLES III is inscribed along the left periphery and D·G·REX along the right, both separated by a beaded inner border. The date 2025 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the portrait. The design occupies the full field of the eleven-sided flan, with the beaded border following the coin's hendecagonal outline.
