| Obverse description | Within a raised circular cartouche occupying the left portion of the rectangular flan, the uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III, modelled by Dominic Tarr, is depicted in fine relief. The sovereign's portrait shows him in civilian dress with naturalistic detail in the hair and facial features. The circular legend around the effigy reads 'CHARLES III · 2024 · SOLOMON ISLANDS' with the denomination '1 DOLLAR' inscribed at the base of the cartouche. The field surrounding the cartouche is decorated with finely struck botanical and floral motifs including leaves, blossoms, and berries in low relief, while the weight and fineness '2.5g Ag.999' appear in the right field. |
