Additional information

Tuvalu has issued legal tender coinage featuring licensed entertainment properties since the early 2000s, with the Perth Mint producing the bulk of these issues under long-standing agreements. The Peppa Pig series targets the collector and gift market rather than circulation, which is why aluminium bronze — a durable, cost-effective alloy — was specified over silver. These pieces almost never enter circulation despite their nominal face value.
