| Reverse description | The reverse presents a highly detailed, high-relief portrait of Count Orlok, the vampire protagonist of F.W. Murnau's 1922 silent horror film 'Nosferatu', rendered in a monochromatic antique silver finish with selective red colour application. The grotesque bust of the vampire dominates the left portion of the field, his bald, elongated head, pointed ears, sunken eyes, and fang-bared mouth rendered with exceptional sculptural detail, his claw-like hand reaching forward with elongated talons towards the viewer. To the right, a flat silhouetted shadow projection — an iconic image from the film — depicts the figure ascending a staircase, rendered against a dark background. Red colour accents simulate blood spatters across the lower field, adding dramatic effect. The title 'Nosferatu' is inscribed in Gothic-style lettering at the centre right of the field. |
