Obverse description The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicted as a circular roundel featuring a stylised tree motif with traditional Polynesian decorative patterning, encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE. The seal is surmounted by a royal crown and flanked on either side by a wreath of elongated leaf sprigs. Below the seal, two crossed ceremonial paddles are rendered in relief, with a ribbon bearing the inscriptions ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI, and the fineness mark AG 999 beneath. The denomination ONE DOLLAR arcs along the upper legend, while the mint mark and date 2026 appear in the lower field.
