| Obverse description | Tribute effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, rendered in high relief with antiqued finish as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The dates 1952–2022 are inscribed beneath the portrait as a memorial dedication. The upper field bears the legend QUEEN ELIZABETH II, while the lower field carries the date 2023 and the issuer name TUVALU flanked by the denomination 1 DOLLAR.
