| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-colour depiction of a quokka (Setonix brachyurus) rendered in naturalistic detail, shown upright and facing three-quarters toward the viewer, its forepaws drawn to its chest, resting on a sandy ground. Clumps of green grass in colour flank the animal at the base, while engraved leafy botanical sprigs rise on either side of the figure against the proof-finished field. The species name 'QUOKKA' arcs across the upper field in incuse lettering, with the date '2024' to the lower left, the Perth Mint's commemorative designation 'P125' to the lower right, and the artist's initials 'AH' at the lower right margin. |
