The "Great Southern Land" branding has become a reliable Perth Mint commercial series, issued under the standard one-dollar silver bullion framework that Australia has maintained since the 1990s. Charles III's effigy here is the first portrait sanctioned for Australian coinage following Elizabeth II's death in September 2022, modeled on Jody Clark's design originally introduced for UK coinage in 2023.
