Additional information

The Double Phoenix design draws on the mythological bird's association with cyclical renewal, but its pairing with a first-portrait effigy of Charles III gives it a specific numismatic timestamp: coins bearing this portrait will be superseded as the king ages and new effigies are commissioned, following the longstanding Commonwealth rotation. Perth Mint issued this under its bullion and collector program, where .9999 fine silver has been a house standard since the late 1980s — finer than the .999 used by most comparable sovereign mints.
