Reverse description A stylised interpretation of the 1954 Australian commemorative florin, issued to mark Queen Elizabeth II's first royal visit to Australia, rendered in selective 24-carat gold gilding against a mirror-polished silver field. At centre, a lion and a kangaroo stand side by side as heraldic emblems symbolising the enduring bond between the United Kingdom and Australia. The outer rim is also gilded in 24-carat gold, creating a striking triptych of gilded elements framing the design. The commemorative legend H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 100th ANNIVERSARY arcs across the upper field, while the date 2026, the Perth Mint's P mintmark, and the NM privy mark appear in the lower field.
