| Reverse description | The reverse features a colourized commemorative design honouring the 150th anniversary of the birth of Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874–1942). A profile portrait of Montgomery, rendered as she appeared around the time of writing Anne of Green Gables, dominates the upper portion of the field, accompanied by her autograph signature and the small cat drawing she habitually included in personal inscriptions. The lower portion transitions imaginatively from a depiction of the author at her writing desk—suggested by a portfolio and inkwell—to the figure of Anne Shirley gazing across the pastoral landscape of Prince Edward Island.
